South Melbourne's beach playground on Beaconsfield Parade is just seconds from the actual beach, but its a fully enclosed hip friendly version. You can now spend time on the beach, and then, when it all gets a bit too much, head to this playground and let the kids run riot whilst you relax under the shade sails. We love this little hip place and it really is a great compromise between a playground and a beach.
